Every summer, the Annapolis Maritime Museum joins forces with the Annapolis Rotaract Foundation to raise money for a good cause—by putting on a fun bash known as Rock the Dock<\/a><\/a>. Celebrating its 11th birthday this year, Rock the Dock is slated to return on Thursday, June 9th. The museum and its seaside park will welcome philanthropists\/live music lovers from 6 to 10 p.m.<\/p>\n Grab a ticket to the causal soiree ($60+) to enjoy an evening of all-you-can-drink booze and all-you-can-eat barbecue, all set against the backdrop of the Chesapeake Bay. Live music will float across the event space all night long, courtesy of local band the Loose Ties. Grab a craft beer, a glass of wine, or a classic crush from one of the many open bars and pair it with some brisket or hushpuppies while you dance the night away. The event raised more than $15,000 last year for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. This year, the goal is to raise even more for Charting Careers, a nonprofit that helps youths set off on their desired career paths with confidence.
